While attending the 2018 Strawberry Festival in Crossroads/Bellevue, we stopped by the Woodland Park Zoo booth and chatted a bit with Gigi, the zoo's Learning Facilitator.

Lots of communities have their own garden where the locals can grow food and plants. It helps enhance the aesthetics of a community as well as bring the community closer together. It's open to the public who wish to purchase from the garden.

It was an awesome trip thru the San Juans, taking the Anacortes Ferry to Orcas Island. As we drove thru the island, we noticed some sheep, so we just decided to stop and observe a bit.

Check out Antonio Nunez, a street performer in Austin, TX, with a unique dance performance. While visiting Austin, TX, our host took us to a part of town called South Congress, also known as Soco. Though we got there in the early afternoon, it was still a lively place with plenty of restaurants and boutiques to visit. It's probably safe to assume the night life activity there would be ten-fold. Like many other cities, street performers were out there entertaining the tourists and locals alike. There we met Antonio Nunez who had a unique dance routine that we've never seen before; though he admits that he had seen someone else do it first and decided to give a try. Friends and family of the USS Nevada wait along the shore to watch and welcome their love ones as the submarine returns to Base in the Olympic Peninsula.

During our trip to Texas, we noticed a couple of huge bulls as we were leaving the Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site. We safely pulled over to take a few video clips of these enormous animals with horns that probably spanned around 15ft from end to end. We were just able to get a few seconds of video of a "motorized hover board" going by in Portage Bay/Lake Union. There's so many ways to get around these days!

Here's another version of going "kayaking". You could actually get a full body workout if you did all three versions---the traditional paddling with the arms, standing board, or as shown here, the pedal version.

While waiting for the Seattle to Bainbridge ferry, we happen to notice a small sailboat practically remaining in place, despite the high winds.

Here's some strange behavior we've never seen with ducks. But we guess with all relations, whether human or animal, there's bound to be some friction. Or was this a mating dance? :)

Guess we caught this deer during lunchtime. Looks like he was more concerned with our presence than the yummy grass itself.

Since the horses weren't racing yet, we decided to videotape the trucks and tractors prepping the racetrack, and visualizing a race. :)

It's quite the scene at La Jolla / San Diego, CA as you see the sea lions fill the shores along beach and rocks. Here we caught a group getting some shut eye as the tourists looked on.
