Redmond Lights is an annual Christmas celebration with plenty of activities for all ages: lighting of the Christmas tree, vendors, food booths, and games for the kids. During the event, as part of Pearl Harbor Day(a national holiday), two veterans from World War II and the Korean War were recognized for their service in the war and in their community. The Blue Angels (a U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron) Air Show is one of the most popular of Seattle's Seafair Summer Events. Taking off from Boeing Field, the Blue Angels demonstrate their  aerial manuevers over Lake Washington, with thousands of onlookers on land and boaters.

The Pierce County Kite Festival is in it's second year at Chambers Creek Regional Park. It's a fun family event as hundreds of kites take to the air. Bring your own kite or be one of the first 250 guests to get a free kite. Bricks 4 Kidz and Bouncy House was also there to entertain the kids.

The Good Year Library in Goodyear, AZ. has a program for kids that help them learn skills such as accountability, teamwork, and leadership, in addition to building self-confidence and social skills. While roaming around in Arizona, we decided to stop by the library -- actually we were just trying to get out of the heat. It was there where we stumbled upon a Hunger Games style event in progress. So we decided to chat with the coordinator and find out more about the event.

Bollywood comes to Seattle with the Jai Ho Dance Party, brought to you by DJ Prashant, owner of Bollywood Dreams Entertainment. He is based in Portland but takes his event to many other cities along the coast. We caught up with his Jai Ho Dance Party in Seattle, at the Cedars club.

Seattle's Navruz, a central asia celebration of the coming of Spring and the beginning of a New Year, is made possible by the Seattle-Tashkent Sister City Association. A fashion show illuminates the colorful and exotic style of the Uzbekistan culture and a popular culture dish is also served.

Salsa on Alki(now called Salsa Bachata on Alki) is a fun, outdoor event at Alki Beach, where folks from all over come to show their Salsa and Bachata skills. Dance or just be one of the hundreds of onlookers enjoying the scene. The event is put together by Sazon Dance Events.

The Spring Fling Fashion show, produced by Joy Sircar McMillen of Kahini Fashion, gives local designers the opportunity to show their new upcoming fashion designs. Part of their show involves a charity, chosen by Joy, to receive financial support. This years event was held in Factoria Mall, just south of Bellevue.

Folk Singer/Songwriter and east coast resident Jane Fallon visits the Pacific Northwest.

Salsa on Alki is a fun and exciting event that many salsa and bachata dancers look forward to every summer. It's an outdoor event and, of course, is held at Alki Beach in West Seattle. You'll find dancers of all skill levels there, so don't be shy and come dance the night away. Or you can just enjoy the hundreds of onlookers as well. The event is made possible by Sazon Dance Events.

The Uwajimaya sponsored Polynesian Festival in Renton is a fun event where you can watch many hula performances from different groups. They also have special contests for everyone to participate in --- pie eating contest and hula-hoop contest. In addition, there are food and item vendors to enjoy.

Thrill the World is an organization who's mission is to bring people of all ethnics and backgrounds together thru dance. As a tradition, organizations with the same mission through out the world simultaneously perform to Michael Jackson's Thriller. Here's Seattle's chapter, called Seattle Thrillers, performing their dance routine in Pioneer Square.

We ran into a special singing group from the Kennedy High School while attending the Kennedy Arts & Craft Fair.

Meet magician and hypnotist, Joe Black. He's been performing for the last 22 years all over the country and in Canada. We caught one of his very entertaining hypnosis performances at Glacier Peak High School.
